A single gull stands at the edge of the tide, unbothered, the way they do when they've decided the beach belongs to them. The water behind him is layered turquoise and soft teal, brushed in broad horizontal strokes, while warm pale sand runs across the bottom of the square. His body is built from just a few confident shapes — a white breast, a soft gray wing, and a sharp black beak — keeping the piece clean and quiet even against all that color. It brings an easy coastal calm to an entryway, bath, or reading nook.
