For the past eight years, Sallie has been commissioned by local architect Paul Thomson of ADW Architectural Design Works to capture his built projects here in Bel Air, Maryland, in paint. Originally created as gifts for Paul's clients, these architectural portraits are now being released to the public for the first time as a special collectors' print series -- offered in celebration of ADW's 35th anniversary.
Rendered in soft blues and sun-washed greens, this stately clubhouse is glimpsed through an arch of trees and a dramatic trellis frame. The painting captures a quiet, welcoming grandeur -- wide glass windows catching the afternoon light, a manicured lawn leading up a garden path. At home in an entryway, living room, or dining space that wants a touch of understated elegance.
