Appalachian Trail 1
A high mountain meadow bursts into bloom in this painterly landscape, with drifts of blush pink, cream and marigold wildflowers giving way to a band of sage-green plain and soft blue ridges beneath billowing cream clouds. Thick, textured brushstrokes keep the flowers lively and loose, while the distant mountains stay hazy and calm. The warm, earthy palette brings a breath of open wilderness indoors without overwhelming a room. It is lovely above a sofa, console or entry bench, or anywhere a peaceful, nature-inspired focal point is wanted.
