The Painted Row

A row of pastel village houses lines a quiet stone quay, their butter yellow, white and slate blue fronts topped with grey roofs and brick chimneys. Soft clouds drift across a pale cream sky, and the houses and sea wall reflect in still, silvery water below. Loose, textured brushwork keeps the scene relaxed and painterly, with small green trees adding life along the street. It brings a gentle Irish village charm to a hallway, kitchen, dining room or living room.
