The Little Wren

A round little wren sits tucked in on a slender branch, her rusty cap pulled low and her soft belly painted in thick, loose strokes of butter yellow, blush and a cool wash of pale blue. Olive and gold buds drift across a creamy, brushy background, keeping the whole piece light and calm. The warm, neutral palette settles easily into a kitchen, entryway, bedroom or reading nook. She is lovely on her own or grouped with other songbirds on a gallery wall.
